The $300 Hellbreaker stripped lower

Sharp Bros. is almost ready to release their $300 Hellbreaker stripped lower receiver. ETA is June or July.

I am a sucker for uniqueness.  I guess thats why I held out for the NIB-X Glock 19.  I think I bought that at D&T if memory serves.

This lower didn't meet the cost/uniqueness threshold.

If it were a upper and lower set I'd be really interested  but with that said ... I didn't like it at first but its growing on me. :up:

Its cool I guess but I usually put my support hand on the mag well and that looks like it could be a bit uncomfortable after shooting for a while.

I would buy one. $300 for a stripped lower isn't that insane anymore.

I kinda like the design, but there's not much of a chance that I'd drop $300 on one.

Yeah, every mag's worth of ammo makes a difference when practicing and that $150 is like 3 mags worth.

All my firearms will assume "just in case" status long before I pay current top price for ammo.

Not my bag but it's kinda cool in its own way. I can see that there might be room for a range of similarly themed lowers & uppers.

I would prefer a under $100 lower that just "breaks wind".  Hell Breaking is not a necessary expense for me.

I buy weapons to use, not look at. For $300, I would think you could get a good COMPLETE lower for less.

 

I guess I never got caught up in the trying to be cool thing.

 

 A guy I work with has an AR, with more accessories hanging off the forward end than my Christmas tree has ornaments, and all he can say is "It looks itimidating"
