Ultra fast c&r license

Recommended Posts

It's probably not taking as long because there likely aren't as many folks applying for C&R licenses these days since the supply of low-priced C&R guns seem to have dried up.

true that

yep the mosin is the last milsurp youll ever see come on the market :(

Just because new imports are drying up doesn't reduce the value of the c&r.

The ability to purchase c&r eligible firearms nationally and also get discounts at online merchants like midway, brownells, aim, grafs, etc are significant.

Lack of new imports does reduce the value somewhat since many people initially got a C&R license to reduce the acquisition costs on the multitude of lower priced milsurp imports that were once avaiable...and the discounts at many of the referenced merchants aren't as good as they used to be for C&R holders. Accordingly, I think the quick turnaround times that are now being seen for a C&R license issuance is pretty good evidence that not as many people see the value that was once perceived.

Having said that, I'll probably renew mine when it comes up for renewal, but I can see why some people wouldn't renew or why some wouldn't bother getting one in the first place in the current environment.
