Still debating about taking up hunting gobblers. I fish and hunt deer with a muzzleloader but the intricacies of of turkey hunting seems a lot to learn. Anyone interested in trading some rockfish catching techniques for turkey hunting techniques? I also got a bass boat but not sure where the fish is at on the water.

We had a good season. I killed 2, daughter killed 2 and several buddies got birds.

Personally I thought the birds worked well this year. Weather was a little cooler and wet.

I agree and the weather could have been better.

Nothing on the side either.  All I ever saw were hens but the gobblers were either MIA or wouldn't come out of the thick woods up in the trees.  Also missed 3 weekends of hunting due to weather, etc. so I have no one to blame but myself.
