Nobody will start crying and bit$%ing about gangs being dangerous, and only one child being worth it. It will be the dangerous guns fault

Im guessing the gun went off by itself.. The inanimate object will get the blame.. Wonder if the gun was Muslim?

Not much to that story, yet.

New Orleans is just like Memphis.  Same type of gang bangers make up most of the population of both cities.

I worked there for 18 years.

"This is an extremely unusual occurrence, and we're confident that we will make swift arrests," said Remi Braden, a police spokeswoman.

I have to call BS on that statement. It's typical...so much so that it usually doesn't garner much, if any media attention.

"swift arrests"...sure you will...

razorback is right.

But Boy...do I ever miss the food. :yum:

I WANT SEA FOOD! oysters and scrimps

One of the suspects was described as an African-American male, approximately 18 to 22 years old, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts.

He is wanted for questioning by both the NOLA PD and E! Network's Fashion Police.

I was there Wed - Sat for a conference (and the food).  Appears I just missed the drama.  Gotta say the Quarter stunk like sewage.  NOLA is the only place I've been that I've had a constant uneasy feeling other than Compton.

This is just one more reason I go to Calabash for my seafood fetish. And two Tanger outlets for my wife. :D

Wouldnt you rather be at home playing xbox than walking around streets looking for trouble? I can think of a million things i rather do with my time.

The Quarter does stink like raw sewage, and since I developed a shellfish allergy, I no longer have any reason to bother with that place.

Hmmm, my wife and I always stay in the Quarter. If anything was stinky, it was the bleach used to wash out the kitchens in the morning. Had no such issues, although I'd expect it during the summer months, like in NYC.

I just wanna clarify this,, The Quarter smells like old beer and vomit.. Sewage has a totally different aroma.. The wife made the statement this morning about she didn't get a New Orleans trip last year.. If you wanna see the heart of the hood, go eat some chicken

at Willie Mae's Scotch House.

I've been to 3rd world countries, live in Memphis and even toured a waste treatment plant when I was a kid (don't ask me whose bright idea that field trip was) and I stand by my assessment that it smells like raw sewage.
