Whats your idea of a big knife?

big game I sometimes use a 119 buck if I have to get really nasty. Anyways my wife always told me size doesn't matter if you keep it sharp!!!!!!

To me, anything over 4" or 5" is a big knife.  For a general use fixed blade knife, I like a blade between 3.5 to 4" inches.  But I have a Joe Hargis Custom, that I find very handy.  For pocket carry, my tastes very depending on my mood, so I'm not sure that I'm a good gage.  I might carry anything from a Camillus U.S. Knife made in 1982, to an Opinel No. 9, to a Case Sodbuster, to a RAT 3.So that's a blade length of 2.5" to 3.75".

My Gerber BMF is my big knife that only gets carried if Im headed to deep woods,swiss army is my every day carry,camillis with gut hook & birds eye maple handle for special days lol,
