If you don't know who Noam Chomsky is, do a search on him. You might vomit. The funniest

one on the list was number one, making Tom Hanks the most trustworthy. Michelle was in there,

too. I'm sure President Kardashian's in there, also.

Does this tell you about polling, now? :D

Thanks for that post (note heavy sarcasm). Who's going to clean up this puke that is all over my keyboard? People really think they know celebrities? Scary.

Folks who put celebrities on such a pedestal are stupid. Perhaps the reason this list is so ridiculous is because people like me would not participate in it.

It also tells me how ridiculous the Reader's Digest has become. That used to be a great little book/magazine

to pick up.

I think it is funny, or perhaps disparaging, that people rate the most trustworthy an actor; a person who's job is to deceive you into thinking they are something they aren't

When was that ? Lol

When I was a kid it used to have short stories and snippets of books. A lot of good reading, maybe some crap,

but it was better than reading the newspaper. And that was at a time when I didn't read much. Back in the sixties.

Not much difference between Tom Hanks and Homer, except I like Homer.

Old Tom thinks a lot of himself.

1. Tom Hanks, actor

"But look, I was born in 1956, the peak year for births in US history. I think I'm very representative of many of the thought processes my generation have been through and, by and large, people of my age have had their imprint planted on the consciousness of western society for a long time." -Tom Hanks

I think his through process is flawed , as are the ones who participated in this poll.

This is not my father's Reader's Digest.

The U.S. Surgeon General, talking about health, who just happens to meet her own departments definition of obese.

One of the reasons I no longer read RD unless I am sitting in a Dcotors or Dentists office. Grandparents used to get everything that came out of RD for as long as I can remember, used to love reading those condensed books.

This is a list of left wingers with a sprinkling of right wingers thrown in, I guess to not completely alienate the right. The number of Obama supporters on this list is pretty large.
