So here is the trailer if you haven't seen it. Just wondering what everyone is thinking about if society were actually like this. Would it be worth it for 1% unemployment and the all time lowest crime rate?

Makes you think right? I can't say I know if it would be "worth it" or not, but only having to worry about battening down the hatches one night a year would be great, especially in some rough parts.

Yes I know it's a movie but Hollywood doesn't make movies that they don't think people will watch. If everyone is bent on trying to reduce violence, why do they have an interest in watching this stuff?

I guess this is why I rarely go to the movies.

This came up on the forum a little while ago. I think the general consensus was that if this was the reality then we would put up deer stands on our roofs and take turns hosting the bad Guy skeet shoots for TGO members.
