Not without a wingsuit AND parachte but really, no. I hated ground ladders in my firefighting days, why would I do this?

Jeez, doesn't anyone here have a sense of adventure? That's what I call a real thrill ride.

Thats what I was thinking, That thing and the roller coster would have to be a riot to ride

It's called Insanity and it's on the top of the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas. When we were there in 2009, I couldn't even bring myself to go up there, much less ride the thing.

They've also got the X-Scream:

I love roller coasters and could probably be coaxed into riding both.  Though I feel sure I'd scream like a sissy girl and have to sit down for a few minutes afterwards waiting for the shakes to subside.

I used to like carnival rides, but a long time ago it got to where I'd even get on a ferris wheel and once it started moving, I'd notice all the joints creaking and the bearings squeaking, and notice the rust all over the moving parts, and begin to think about the carnies with three-day-old beards reeking of wine, operating the ride, and of course had set up the ride.

I won't even get on cable sky rides any more. All I do is stare up at the connection between the car and the cable, how flimsy and rusty it looks, one-inch steel with that right-angle weld up top, how it makes that loud klunk and jerk every time the cable moves over a squeaky roller wheel.

The anticipation was worse than the actual rides, of course with all of the free booze that they poured into me at the gabling tables I probably would have accepted just about any "dare" or even "double dare" while we were in Vegas, which I think is the whole point of all of the free booze.
