It's not who you think it is.  ;)

That's why I said guess who. Who is it? I don't know.

It's false.  Google it.  BTW now your brain is forever damaged for even trying to imagine her as anything but a real-life version of a zombie from "The Walking Dead".

What year is that Oldsmobile? It looks like about a '51 or '52, but the grill doesn't look right to me. I don't remember a model that had those vertical posts beside the license plate area that went up that high.

It is great americana and pretty girls anyway.

The entire set shows two Miss Lube Racks, in two pictures, with the same assortment of lecherous mechanics in both pictures, about half way down, images 22 and 27 at this link-- http://carrosantigos.wordpress.com/2012/08/02/muller-bros-car-wash-junho-de-1951/

Or maybe it is the same girl in both pictures, dunno. I like the second Miss Lube Rack picture, but  OTOH all of em look pretty good to an old man, especially Miss Auto Accessory and Miss Control Tower. :)

I didn't see any cars in the pictures.

Ok...I'm slow today. Just who is Miss Lube Rack?  And BTW, I prefer Miss Polish Job.

Is that an ethnic joke?

Im lost. Is it a guy? I mean, I wouldnt expect that sort of thing in the 50's but if something about this is gross and she isnt who we think, thats all I got for a guess.

I think the deal, is that some websites (supposedly incorrectly) identified the attractive young lady as a young Nancy Pelosi. So it ain't Nancy. But she is a cute gal. OTOH that 1951 photo spread had LOTS of cute Los Angeles gals in that carwash beauty pageant. So perhaps the question is, is Miss Lube Racks a person who later became famous, or just another pretty face? I'd have to wager just some cute waitress or daughter of a local businessman or whatever, though she certainly is cute.

Ha, thanks for the clarification.

It isn't. The photo circulates around these here Interwebz claiming it is, but it's not true. Just a pretty girl in front of an as-yet-unknown year of Oldsmobile. My money is on a 1949 Olds 88.

That's true. I was referring to another young lady and her pic. However Raoul's comment sure was a good one.

One never gets too old to look, but my favorite in that 1951 Life photo-shoot-- http://carrosantigos.wordpress.com/2012/08/02/muller-bros-car-wash-junho-de-1951/

Several heart-breakers in that line-up, especially bottom-left-center, top-left and top-right. On second thought it might be easier to pick one or two that are not quite hot enough for the average hotness in the lineup. The old fella looks real happy to be there.

That's Diane Feinstein in top right.

It looks to be a 49 Olds with some odd posts. The Olds logo, grill, bumper and headlight area are all 1949. The posts might be add ons or a custom touch.
