Nashville gun show - May 4-5

Probably not. Rain and high prices kinda make me want to stay home.

Plus, after buying a little ammo from Grafs, I really don't need to let any more cash go.

I was thinking about it. I've never been before. Perhaps small crowds might scare sellers to lower prices?

Maybe, but don't bank on it just yet. Some of the highest local prices I've seen since last year have been at a Goodman show.

Parking + admission at $5 + $8 is too high and not really a good show. I'll wait for Murfreesboro show May 18-19. Maybe David will be there at Murfreesboro.

Well, let's see. Drive 45 mi. to fairgrounds ( in rain ), pay $5 to park, walk from parking lot to adm booth ( in rain ),

stand in line (in rain ), pay $10 adm., walk to bldg.( in rain), check out obscene prices. Return route ( in rain ),

not happening.

Oh hell, I'm a glutton for punishment. I may head out there with a friend of mine and browse. Maybe get more laughs than a trip to Zanies! :)

Yes, probably will be good for comic relief. And I do enjoy looking at all the guns, but for all the above reasons, and the fact that I'm watching an all day session of Game of Thrones, I might go.

NOT!

Well as usual I loved looking at all of the guns, aka my dreams. I saw tons of ammo!...........$40 per box of 50 for handgun ammo lmao. Even saw a box of Academy house brand Monarch 380 ammo for $50! I wanted to slap him in the mouth.....metaphorically speaking....well...lol

I did pick up a Magpul MOE handguard for $20 and threw it on my M&P15 just now, and got a box of VTAC 5.56 for $12. Scores like that were extremely rare though. One guy had some old trooper issued 12 gauges. Since I've never been a bad guy and had one shot at my head, I really think they are cool and had I brought more money than my wife let me bring, I would have one in the safe right now :)

I saw a lot of pistols at different tables.  Played around with a few of them. I want one of the M&P .22 pistols, it feels sweet! It's not a huge show anyway, but seemed to be a good selection of handguns, and a lot of AR's too. I drooled over the M&P10. I have an Armalite, but I want that S&W version .308 also....can be his brother in the safe ha ha

Thanks for the update.  I've been thinking of picking up an M&P .22 myself.

Awesome, there were several there. Hope ya get one. Only problem for me is, my daughter claims all of the .22 ammo I have for her 10-22, even claimed one of my ammo boxes for her stash. Looks like I'll be on my own shopping for it again if I get a M&P22 and will have to hide my ammo.
