Israel bombs group in Syria

Recommended Posts

I dunno, they seem to have been doing this about once a month since last year. Remember the deep strike they did on the IRGC officer months back. That's the ballsiest thing I've seen yet and there was barely a response by Iran or Syria.

I figure Israel will be the frontrunner for the conflict in Syria. Much more so than the US. They have a lot more at stake due to the location. Not to mention their leaders have the balls to actually do something.

Cool, do a few more!

I love the Israeli people with all my heart but Has anyone ever wondered why they don't buy Abrams tanks from America? They could call them Abrahams A2. LOL Edited by Caster

I suspect they will hit Iran soon...if they weren't sure before I think that he Israelis know for certain that Obama will let Iran start dropping nukes on Israel while he's still playing golf.

I hit the "like" button, but I think you deserve a HUGE "AMEN" for your insight into our coward in chief.

normally they just go after people though, correct? This is the first one I've seen where they went specifically after munitions only

I thought they used the presence of manpads being transported in the convoy as the excuse for assassinating him.

Not really any good outcome for them. Both players in that conflict are hostile toward a Jewish state. Best they can do is manage the flow of weapons out.

I wonder why they don't already have some. We sell them everything else.

They build their own. It's called a Merkava. It's a far cry from an Abrams but it ain't no slouch and is MORE than sufficient for whackin ragheads.

The merkava is a fantastic death dealing machine, I actually like it more than the M1 (that I operated for 6 years).  Coolest thing about the merk is that it not only has the same canon as we used, it also has a 60mm mortar + carry additional 4 (iirc) troops in the back during an emergency.  Other thing I like is that the .50 is mounted above the gun tube so the gunner can use it on the m1 the commander has control over the .50 and that secondary turret failed all the time. Then the gunner had a 7.62 on coax for troops, which I guess it's ok in a sense, but my theory would be that you wanted the largest amount of firepower on the turret controls because of stability and being more accurate for long range.
