The Defense Distributed "Liberator"

I know how 3-D printing works. I have samples on my desk and I don't see how it can stand the pressure. There has to be more metal parts than just the firing pin.

There has to be a lot more to it than the plastic.

The barrels from what I can tell look really thick, and one time use only.  Kinda like shooting a .50 BMG out of a single shot 12 gauge.  While technically possible, I wouldn't want to be the one pulling the trigger.

So the FED and moron liberal argument is that they dont want the information to get into the wrong hands..........um not many common street thugs round here got the money or know how to assemble a 3D printer or know how to program it and if they did they would probably just blown the gun up in their hand when they fired it. I doubt that this is going to change the way Iran and Korea stockpiles their weapons, nor will it change the fact that to get a functioning weapon thru a metal detector there cant be any metal(firing pin, ammunition) so whats the problem again?

That has been my thought, but this thing really did "work" with a plastic barrel. You can do a lot to drop the pressure by just loostening up the bore. The example of shooting a 50 BMG in a 12 ga. is a good one. I don't think the goal was an effective weapon. It was to make a bunch of liberals piss their pants. I think it worked. :)

I think that was about the entire goal, see if the government would step in on this and make a bunch of liberals run in circles.  Seeing how this is entire project revolves around have a very expensive piece of equipment which everyone clearly has.
