"With respect to his concern that federal officials be allowed to enforce federal laws, Mr. Holder’s statement is a curious one. He was evidently not concerned that ATFE officials be allowed to enforce federal law when his agency oversaw the “fast and furious” operation to walk guns into the hands of Mexican cartels.

The State of Kansas is determined to restore the Constitution and to protect the right of its citizens to keep and bear arms."

You know, the state of Kansas could probably sell copies of the law and Holder's response as a matched set and make some money to pay for the lawsuit that is heading their way.

 

I would love to have a copy of that letter to mail to Holder if we ever get the courage to throw him out of office...

"We" have no say as to whether he stays in office, short of pushing legislators for his impeachment. Which also can't happen -- just like BHO, he could murder someone on national TV and the Senate still wouldn't try him, unless Hussein turned against him and told them to.

According to the legal types, that hasn't been the case since the conclusion of Lincoln's war in 1865.

AG Holder can say "I do declare" all he wants to, but his word doesn't defeat the 10th Amendment to

the Constitution. Secession isn't the answer, but assertion is. That's what Kansas did. If you work back

on the basis of the Constitution and look at the unconstitutional laws passed by the federal government

and quit submitting to them, this should be what you get. All the laws that don't pass constitutional muster

should be nullified by this process, and the states' sovereignty should prevail.

 

The federal government is extorting states to submit by using funds, like the Highway Trust Fund and

others like Obamacare and medicare to redistribute money. States have every right to pass legislation

like this and Holder can't do anything about it without resorting to fear and force. If he does anything like

that, he could cause some serious problems and the federal government could very well come crashing

down if he did, and the states kept the pressure up. Holder is a coward who will try to punish anyone

getting in his way until enough states do this. He thinks using all those federal judges to will succeed.

I don't think that's the case.

 

Holder should know after the Fast and Furious and the Black Panther episodes, he isn't going to get his

way without using force, and that won't end well.

 

"When government grows, freedom dies." At least some people understand this.

I wonder, did Holder raise a stink over Washington and Colorado legalizing marijuana in conflict with Federal law?  Nope, he's dragging his feet on the issue because this Administration could care less about enforcing those laws.

Marijuana is illegal under federal law, and one congressman pressed Holder to challenge the state initiatives in court. Holder said he hasn't decided what to do.

In December, President Barack Obama said in an ABC interview that the federal government won't go after recreational marijuana use in the two states that have legalized it. When asked if he supported legalization, he responded, "I wouldn't go that far."

 

They pick and choose which laws they wish to enforce depending on whether or not it fits their ideology.

And legalizing Mary Jane is part of their agenda, just like the destruction of the family and removing our

right to protect ourselves, plus a whole list of other things.

 More than an armed march, more than picking up our guns, atleast for now, all states and every citizen should look at every unconstitutional law and simply stop submitting to them and complying with them.

 

There has to be one voice though. Otherwise you'll get a bunch of knuckleheaded clowns running around refusing to do this or that because in their opinion everything is unconstitutional. There has to be a united voice of the people and everyone has to just say enough is enough.
