Maybe this has been posted but anyone else get the email from Magpul about he new AK mags. Look nice and I imagine they will sell like crazy. If this has been posted I apologize.

I wish they metal reinforced.

Good to see the second gen's will have metal reinforced lugs and lips. If Magpul can pull off a Bulgarian "Circle 10", they will own the AK market. I am excited about the 2nd Gen's. 1st gen's fall in the category of Tapco's. I could see upgrading all the followers though.

Due to the interface of rifle and magazine in the Kalashnikov platforms, and the leverage that critical points must withstand, we knew we couldn’t leave well-enough alone with the AK MOE before we even started designing. Also currently in development, and arriving on the heels of the AK MOE, is the next release in the PMAG AK lineup, which will be a 7.62×39 magazine with a little more “Bulgarian” in it, featuring solid steel reinforcements at lockup points.

But how long will it be before those are out?! I want them now! I bet they will be just as good as Circle 10s.

That's good to know about. I really have enough Bulgarian mags for my AK, but might just try them considering the Pmag rep.

Glad to hear about the gen2 mags. Can't imagine I will see one within a year given the current climate.
