CZ 22LR bolt action...

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever owned or shot one of these in 22.LR?  I'm thinking seriously about getting one.  I saw a youtube video and it was grouping dime size groups at 100 yards, and was not even using eley match ammo.  at 50 yards this thing might be a nail driver...any thoughts?

Sorry don't have that one, but I have an American and a 452 ultra Lux. Both are tack drivers.

This one is the CZ 455 22LR Varmint Evolution with a floating barrel.  I'm gonna have to get one I think.

Thanks for the replies!

I've got a CZ 455 FS that shoots lovely tight groups. They make really nice .22s.

I was shooting quarter sized groups over iron sights at 25 yds. The gun shoots much better than I do.

I think a good scope and bags and some good ammo would be a lot of fun at 50 yards.

More fun at 100.

More fun at 100.

Or at 200. I shoot steel at 200 yards with my 22lr. It is fun when the steel rings close to a second later.

Wait for it... Wait for it...ding!

Here are a couple of CZ 452s I own.  I don't think there is another bolt .22 this side of an Anschutz that is likely better out of the box.

The one if the first pic in the middle is a CZ Scout, 16" barrel, a little over 12" LOP.

The pic below that is of an Ultra Lux that has Tech Sights and a cut down rear sight.  This has been on loan to a fella in Birmingham, AL for a good while and I am getting it back this month.

My CZ452 American shoots just as good as any Cooper or Annie I've had (in same traditional configuration).

Mine likes Federal Gold Medal match.

I have a CZ 452 Varmit 22 and it is extremely accurate.  I enjoy shooting it on bags.

My boy has a scout and it is a tack driver.  CZ makes fine weapons.

I've been wanting one of those for myself.  Neat little rifles.
