Used S&W Model 10's @ Buds again

Buds has Smith & Wesson police surplus model 10 revolvers for $269-$299. I hate not having money! I thought I'd share with the TGO community. Trying to convince people I know to sell their Glocks and buy two of these instead. I'd love to have a little model 10 k-frame again...

That 3" is a steal, and will not last long!

Yep. By 5:30 its already out of stock. That's the one I really wanted, so I'll keep checking to see if they get more. Looks like these are the Victoria Police trade-ins again.

I picked up a 3" model 13 .357 about a year ago for that price. Best handgun I own. I'm real tempted to order one of those square butted 4" model 10s Edited by Batman

Darn it...I missed out on that 3 inch too!  I already have several 4 inch model 10s, but I would like to have a 3 inch. :(

The 3" is the one I want as well. My dad had a simar gun years ago, said it was his favorite. Be kind of cool to have one of my own.

3" looks good.

Question: Does anyone know what about these guns makes them illegal in California? If I thought you could have anything in the PRC, I thought for sure it'd be a .38 revolver.

I think it's because these smiths don't have the lock.

Ordered a 4" round butt model. I've wanted an Model 10 for a LONG time and I'm very glad to see that I could get one at an acceptable price. I've seen them as high as $500 back before the recent stupidity.

Yes and Kframes in the RB are fairl rare to come by. The conceal better, as far as shooting comfort it is personal preference. Most prefer to shoot SB but various grip designs out there you can always find a grip you like.

Either that or those particular models were never submitted for approval.  My understanding is that each sub-model, like a 10-5 or 10-6, has to be approved.  Craziness.

Ordered last night and it shipped today. Should have it tomorrow or friday. Amazingly fast service, here's hoping it's as expected condition wise!

Picked mine up today. It's a model 10-10 and has obvious wear but the cylinders and barrel look pristine. Trigger is nice and smooth. Can't wait to take it out and shoot it!
