All those katanas...I am as big a fan of the Japanese sword and bushido as they come, but those things are going to look like twisted rebar a few weeks into such an event.  The real ones take a butt-load of attention to care for...they rust like MOFOs!

If you are unhappy about how much maintenance an AR requires, you are going to hate a katana.

if i have to choose from what i actually own

for walking dead type zombies

1. H&K MP5SD .22LR

2. M&P 9mm

3. Kukri Machette

for rage virus type zombies my only change would be 1. Maverick 88 12g pump

Posted

1) M134

2) LWRC Six8 Suppressed

3) 1911 Tac Ops with Osprey 45 (None of this polymer lower crap, perfectly fine to beat peoples heads in with)

After watching Walking Dead,  I wouldn't have another caliber other than a .22!

1. Primary:  Ruger MkII Target Pistol

2. Secondary: Ruger 10/22 rifle with hi-cap mags. or another dependable semi-auto with hi-cap mags

3. Melee: Aluminum softball or baseball bat or a 2' long piece of rebar with a duct taped handle.

Anything else is complete over kill.

Primary:  Ruger 10/22 with ammo

Secondary:  Semi auto .22 pistol of choice

Melee: both,  with LOTS of ammo

All you'd need, firearm wise.

Never set a zombie on fire, because then you will have a zombie, engulfed in flames, trying to eat your brains.

Primary: Rem 870 7+1 with 00 buck

Secondary: Kel-tec P-11 with 12+1 mags

Melee: My Fasthawk tomahawk, my Parang machete, and any others I can carry.

I just need to know when and where so I can get a pack mule for everything I can't carry, which is

quite a lot. Those ammo cans can get quite cumbersome. :D

Oops, forgot the gun. 6.8 pistol, M1A and the pack mule.
