Glocks and lead bullets

I been trying to get the right combination of bullet/bullet weight/lube and powder to use in my Glock 34 using the factory barrel without leading I think I'm on the right track now I've shot 50 rds this evening without any leading and they were pretty much making power a couple rds didn't so I've bumped it up a little maybe they'll still be fine. I had a G21 that I could shoot any lead bullet through it without a hint of leading but this G34 is different I've tried several combinations without any success till now I'm hoping I'm on the right tract. It's been interesting and a challenge a couple times I almost gave up and bought a barrel now I got a little hope.

Sounds like you have a load that works, keep it, boolit size is the trick.

Slug your barrel and make sure the boolit is a bit over that.

Gas cutting is what causes leading.

Hot gas gets by the boolit and melts it and you get lead in the barrel.

Also if the back side of the boolit is not smooth it will cause melting and leading.

I'd already slugged my barrel and got the right sizing die (.357) and using the Lee tumble lube bullets (.356) it leaded pretty bad in my 34 but works great in my sons Ruger I got 4 different molds for a 9mm but I did find out on this combination it also depends on the lube I use. Same bullet same powder but different lube and it leaded (got a Star Lubersizer) so I try a  different lube and it starts coming around and I'm only shooting 1020fps like to get it up to 1040/50 fps I think (hope)I can get it now like I said its been interesting
