How hot of a round would my p95 handle?

According to Ruger any ammo within Nato or SAAMI Specs are fine.

9mm +P is a SAAMI load. So you will be fine with any +P ammo.

Shooting "hotter" rounds does result in more wear to the parts.

In therory you'll get less life out of your pistol shooting hotter rounds.

How much less is anyones guess. But I wouldn't worry about it.

By the time you wear out the pistol, even shooting hooter loads, you

could have boughtmany more pistols with the ammount you will have spent on ammo

wearing it out.

As for 9mm +P+ all that means is it generates MORE pressure than +P.

+P+ does not have a set maximum pressure limit and is NOT NATO or SAMMI.

Therfor you shouldn't use +P+ according to Ruger.

I HAVE personally used Winchester +P+ in a P89. Nothing broke and all was fine.

If you do choose to shoot +P+ you do so at your own risk. But the Ruger P Series are like tanks.

NATO is fairly hot stuff. If the pistol misbehaves with NATO ammo then that would most likely indicate something needs fixing with the pistol.

I didn't go into detail on NATO. As it is between Standard 9mm and 9mm +P in pressure.

Yes NATO marked ammo is SAFE for your pistol.

Pressure Specs:

9x19 Standard - Max PSI 35,000

9x19 Nato - Max PSI 36,500

9x19 +P - Max PSI 38,500

9x19 +P+  Anything over 38,500 PSI
