In Tennessee they are often spotted in the company of a black panther.

Don't get me started on Black Panthers, they exist, technically black jaguars with a melanistic (black) coat. We just don't find them in the wild, not a good documented one at all. There are several in zoos across the United States. Here is the the thing, Diablo in Nebraska, one of the most convincing truly is solid black. You can not see stripes or spots. They are there but you can't see them.

Not a good idea to give a musician access to a hammer :)

Thought you'd pick up on the old joke:

"you know why women make terrible carpenters?"

(holds up thumb and forefinger an inch apart)

"because they've always been told that's 6 inches!"

I've watched quite a few episodes of "Finding Bigfoot" and I've look at the "BFRO's" website (http://www.bfro.net/  ).

I've always been curious about things like this...mysterious animals that no one knew existed until someone actually found one or unknown civilizations, etc. so part of me would like to think these animals exist.

On the other hand, I really have a difficult time believing that we don't have significant physical evidence (like a captured bigfoot of a dead body) to prove they are real.

What do you think???

I've watched that show too. They couldn't find a Squatch if it was trying to mate with them. As soon as they here or see something the least bit unusual, they start hollering or running around like crazy. Any self respecting bigfoot will look for someone else to reveal itself to.

I think that if there were any in at least the Continental United States a hunter would have shot one by now.  Or at least found reputable evidence of them.

That's ^ where a lot of my skepticism lies too...I know that the possibility of a "man-ape" type creature exists and it's difficult to discount all the thousands of reported sightings, some that are very credible.

However, with all the hunters who are in the woods every day as well as those who specifically hunt these creatures, I find the lack of significant evidence, not to mention a body (live or otherwise) odd.

She's just hoodwinking you into taking out the trash. :)

Probably a sign of approaching old age (although rumor has it that you can see that sign clearly in your rear-view mirror. :)
