I have a Lee Pro 1000 and have a question about dies. Can I use Lyman re-sizing die and a Lyman bullet seating die with and Lee Powder Through Expander Die together?

Thanks

Personally I have all RCBS dies but to the best my my knowledge yes, you can mix and match different die functions (I.E., an RCBS decapper, Hornaday expander, Dillon bullet seater and a Lee factory crimp) all for a single cartridge. In fact, I have been told that is really the best way to get exactly what you want.

Why wouldn't you be able to?

Thanks for the answers!

Not sure that's why I asked. I have a Lyman 45 die set and did not know w whether to buy  a Lee Powder Through Expander Die and use it or to sell the Lyman and buy a Lee set. If I can just use the Lee Powder Through Expander Die with the Lyman,  then I'm good to go.

For the most part dies are interchangeable. Thread size can be different, but that is more special case dies and presses (50bmg for example). The Lee press and Lyman presses both use 7/8 - 14 inch die threads which is the "standard".
