Well, if my shipment is on schedule, I will be picking up my new HK USP compact, 9mm, this afternoon. I ordered it Monday and dang this was one long week. I had planned own buying the HK P2000sk and looked and groped this pistol several times. As much as I really liked this pistol, I had to concede that the grip was just too small for my hand, even with the pinky extension. Either my fingers were smashed together or my pinky hanging under the grip. Just wasn't meant to be. After actually placing the P2000sk on top of the USPc, there wasn't as much difference in size as I had thought. The grip on the USPc is perfect for my hand size. While at the local gun shop, this past saturday, I was checking out an all black USPc but my eyes kept looking over at the beauty in the glass case. A USPc with a stainless slide. I could not resist, broke my black only guns tradition, and ordered the USPc with a little bling from CDNN.

If I get flawless performance from my HK as I do with my Beretta, I will be one happy man.

I was in a shop yesterday and comparing grips on polymer guns. The USP grips just fit me much better than the others I tried. Of course, I'm used to the USP, so it may not be a fair test.

Anyway, congratulations on the new quality handgun!

Nice Pistol VOODOO!

how does it shoot? :D:cool::up:

Hey toy! have you thought about russian 9mm?

if you do, I might have the pistol for you!

check my photos and look at the P89. its very compact, has a decocker built into the safety, and is double action.

there are only 2 things that I can say are drawbacks.

1. it only holds 7 rounds in the magazine.

2. its got a high trigger weight when you're pulling the trigger from condition 2 (a round in the chamber and hammer is NOT cocked)

but I can sell it to you for a good price if you're interested!

Thanks guys,

I am going to try and take it to the range friday night. We'll see how it shoots but if it shoots as good as it looks this will be me :D .

db, you can't go wrong with a 92 series Beretta pistol. Absolutely reliable and a great shooter.

Mars, I just noticed your new signature comparing a glock to a corvair.:D You are so bad!

Oh...did I do that?

I know a local shop that carries Saturday night specials...errr...Jimenez Arms handguns. I kid them about it, but kept thinking that is is actually safer than a Glock.

And you can always use it as a boat anchor.

Or a grappling hook!

I shot the M9's when I was at Fort Knox. I liked them then and will own another. It is in my list of one of the "handguns I will own". The others are a Colt 1911(shot those at my guard unit) and an AR.
