How many are going to be in Manchester for the Sizzler? So far the forecast is mostly sunny mid 90's so it should actually be a "sizzler"

I'll be there. I waited till last Friday to decide, checked the 10 day outlook, high of 89 (not so bad). Today, well you said it,and I knew it could happen. At least the forecast is not in 100's, of course it might be by Thursday.

Well we sizzled!

It was a good match I just didn't have a good performance, shot pretty accurate just too slow.

I don't think there were 10 of us in SSP/EX for anyone to get a bump. We will have to wait for the posted results to see for sure.

Good match. Went very smoothly. David and I worked bay 4 this match and we had 4 of the 5 squads shot through before lunch. As soon as one squad started packing up to leave the next squad started moving in. I didn't sit down for the first 4 hours.

After 15 stages of shooting I finish 2nd CDP/EX, by 5/100th of a second, 8th overall.

The little green Glock 19 brought home ANOTHER 2nd place plaque (SSP/EX). I think I finished 11th overall. I did beat all but one SSP Master, though. I dropped 43 points--as usual, I shot too fast but not so accurate. To hell with it, I'm getting a 34--I need that sight radius.

Scott Hammond will be getting bumped up to Master--he beat all 7 SSP Experts plus all the SSP Masters (you get bumped if you win and beat 10 at/above your classification).

I know it must have been a long hot day. We shot in Adairville on Saturday and when I left at 1:00 me and everyone else were soaking wet.

That really doesn't bother me, as I don't think there should be high lady awards. This sport can be shot heads up with anyone it isn't a strength oriented sport. Back in Michigan one of my "rivals" was a woman. I always benchmark myself against shooters I know regardless of gender.

Now one of our normal squad mates is a whole nother ball game we will have to taunt him mercilessly about this as it will bother him to no end. Hell after that match he was ready to put his guns up for the season.
