Congrats for joining the stg 22 club. It's a super nice replica. PM me if you need extra mags. I have a small supply - they only sell the dang rifle with one mag.

I am allready planing on building a crate like the ones that some came in. IMA has the large stencil of the german eagle but i am looking around for one cheaper first and i will want to pick up a extra mag. I  plan on picking up a repo k98 sling to put on it also.

Too bad you  cant rechamber it to something else. Thats the only reason I have not picked up one. As much as I LOVE german weapons, I cant see the STG 44 being used as a .22. I may give in someday and buy it.

I am eagerly awaiting the .22LR MP40.

I think rifles like that in .22LR are the bees knees. They are fun to shoot and you don't have to worry about damaging a rare or costly original. 22LR is cheaper to shoot than some obscure intermediate or rifle cartridge. If the prices get back to normal it is cheaper than 9mm too.

The same concept for the .22LR ARs, training aids that are cheaper to shoot.

I would give an appendage if they made a 22lr of the HK MP7.

That would be killer!! I almost picked up the STG44-22 that was at the gun shop on Alcoa Hwy near UT a few weeks ago.

The missus would have given me a horizontal buttstroke with it.
