Any guilty verdict then should be tossed out as it is not a jury of ones peers.  IE citizen/taxpayer.

I wonder if you could use that as a defense. I mean I live in the hills of Tennessee and if I found myself in trouble some place else how could they find a jury of my peers.

 

Wouldn't it be nice if, regardless of where the crime was committed, you were tried in your county of residence by your peers. That would nullify a lot of screwed up laws in other states. We could carry a firearm in places like NY without fear because a jury of our peers would would not convict you for having a gun with a HCP.

There is nothing in the Constitution that entitles you to a jury of your peers.  I don't know where people get that..........maybe watching too much TV.

 

EDIT:  Found out that the "peer" thing comes from the Magna Carta.
