Been listening to Ray Stevens for a long time ... If  you're my age, you'll remember his first hit back in the sixties....Ahab the Arab...Ol Ray is still doing pretty good considering he's in his mid 70s now.

I love Ray. Glad to see he's still got it. I'm only 32 but there isn't a song of his I haven't heard. He was even my first live concert, I was 8 or 9.

That is great! I am only 24 but I grew up with Ray Stevens stuff - my parents really liked him and we had every cassette and even several VHS movies. Classic stuff.

He hasn't lost a lick. Gets better with age.

I saw him in a Braid electrical supply house years ago, we talked for a bit about

things that did make a hill of beans. As we parted I asked if he had been to church lately with a squirrel.

He laughed, said thanks and good bye.

Great man, singer and a good person.

Good post here, thanks for the videos.

Ahab the Arab was his first top 10 record (1962) but he hit the top 40 in 1961 with "Jeremiah Peabody's Polyunsaturated Quick-Dissolving Fast-Acting Pleasant-Tasting Green and Purple Pills" which has the 2nd longest title of any record on Billboards hot 100 chart. No need to send in $1.98 (if you have to ask, listen to the song).
