Molon Labe T-shirt public reactions

I bought myself a shirt before the big rally in Nashville a couple of months back.  Front and back has a picture of an AR-15 and the words "Come and take it" on the front and back, the back in a pretty large print.  I've worn the shirt several times but no one has commented on it, admittedly I don't get out into public all that often and have a habit of wearing a light jacket a lot to help with concealment.  A couple of days ago happened to be wearing the shirt when I went to run some errands.  I had to go by the court house which is a no civilians with guns zone and I wanted to drive the convertible, I will not leave my gun unattended in that car because the locks don't work so I just left the gun at home.  As I ran my errands I had two people approach me at different stores and compliment my shirt.  The cool thing was that I no one said anything negative about it.  I know that you will get away with that kind of thing better down here in rural Blount County than you will a lot of other places but I was glad to get a positive reaction.

I wear a Molon Labe bracelet and I have been questioned about it and I know if someone has to ask what it means then they are either neutral or anti-2a. I explained it to one guy back in January and he said he only believed people shouldn't be allowed to own assault weapons, I said sir that's where you and I disagree I've never been in any trouble with the police with the exception of a couple speeding tickets there is no reason I shouldn't be allowed to own any firearms I would want. I doubt it did any good but atleast he left after meeting me knowing where I stand. I think part of the problem is that the public thinks that the only people that own assault weapons are the gangsters or thugs or crazy militant types, not the responsible gun owners that this site represents.

I talked to my greek professor about getting it tattoed. He explained the origin of it before I could say anything and thought it was an "interesting" idea. He's like 80 years old and teaches political science, lol!

I'm thinking about just the plain original lettering on my left sleeve.

I think that would be awesome.

I have several shirts one of them has the arabic writing of Infidel with Infidel in () under it. Had one guy come up to me at a mall and said that doesnt spell infidel.

Another from ranger up front reads "Unapoligetically American" with cross musket pistols under it and with Constitution in background,on the back Constitution and reads "THe purpose of the Constitutuion is to limit the power of the Federal Government; Not the American people" several people have commented positively on it.

jonnin, I'm with you.  I'd buy one with MOLON LABE and under it in () and smaller type Come Take Them    Those wo know would read the greek and those who don't can read the translation.  I would only have to explain the "them" to a few.
