Strange 32 ammo problems.

I bought a Keltec P32 a couple years ago and it's had lots of feed problems both fail to extract and failing to feed the two times I've took it shooting using the Sellor and Bellot ammo that the store sold me for it. I was running low and got a few boxes of Speer Lawman ammo and was shooting it Sunday, the Sellor ammo fought me every other round but all 75 rounds I shot of the Speer ammo ran flawlessly to the point I can trust it in my pocket.

Looking close the Sellor ammo has a larger rim on it then the Speer ammo, could that be the cause of my problems? Two other shooters with me had the same outcome in testing 15 rounds of each ammo with it, with only one fail to extract on the Speer because he limp wristed it the first shot.

I have around 28-35 rounds of Sellor ammo left but I just don't trust it.

I've got a p32 myself. Usually shoot the Winchester white box and have had only one problem when I limp wristed it to see how it reacted.

Like mine a lot.

But I don't have any apps on my P32!

...oops...wrong question.

I'm not real fond of any S&B ammo I've shot, or brass for that matter. For the KelTec, find something that works and carry it. Sounds like you've done just that with the Speer.

For my KelTec, I really like the Fiocchi Extrema XTP - I've fired a box or two without problems. Here's another review from Pocket Guns and Gear.

I had a Seecamp that was a temperamental little gun on that .32.... drove me nuts. It only liked expensive silver tip or whatever it was called...

S&B ammo is no good, All I have ever read or heard about it was bad.

I've never had any prob whatsoever with it, but only shot 9mm and .357/.38, and 12 gauge.

One of the oldest companies in the word, I actually don't see much negative talk about their stuff.

All I have to offer is European .32 ammo is generally loaded hotter than American rounds and S&B makes excellent ammo.

I barely ever buy any .32ACP ammo except S&B and Fiocchi, because they're the cheapest.

I haven't had an issue with S&B at all. So, if it does have a thicker rim, my P-32 can't tell the difference.

I know that isn't much help to you, sorry. It may have a worn out or out of spec extractor.

Send that bad boy back and let Kel-Tec look it over. They have GREAT customer service and are aware that extraction/ejection problems are common. They'll probably install a new extractor, even if they can't replicate the problem, test fire it, and send it back home.

I haven't shot much of it, but the only problem I've ever had with S&B was hard primers in some 9mm. They all went bang, but several took 2 hits.
