Got myself a new Glock 26 to replace the Kahr CW9 that I sold. I like the G26 as I already have a G19. Haven't got to shoot it yet but I am dying to squeeze it. I plan on replacing the stock sights with a set of Mepro night sights that I have laying around. Also adding the Pearce mag extension as well. Hopefully the local gun shop will get the Fobus holster in for me on Monday. The Kahr seems to be a slow mover at the local shops. Is that because of the price or is it because of the stiff spring? Either way I like the Glock much better.

Just bought a G26 a couple weeks ago and I love it. I think you will be pleased with the purchase!

I think the downfall to the Kahr is the mag capacity compared to like a Glock. I used to have a Kahr CW45 and traded it for a compact Glock 30 .45 mainly just because of 6 rds in the Kahr compared to 10 rds in the Glock 30 or 13 rds if I carry the Glock 21 mags. However, the selling point to the Kahr is the slim profile and small size. That also contributes to them being a little more snappy. Every gun has a purpose though and if you want a 9mm for easy concealment and don't mind the lower single stack mag capacity, the Kahr is a good gun. If you don't mind something a little thicker with more capacity, the Glock is a good choice.

I like my G26 better than my G19, it seems to shoot with much less hop than the 19. Love it! You shouldn't be sorry.

Congratulations on your purchase of the G-26. I've had one for almost a year and have put close to 500 rounds through it with no hiccup at all. I purchased two extra magazines to which I added the Pearce extensions. I left one stock since it conceals a little better and it is a little easier on the upholstery of the car seat. :D

Good job on a G26. I like those a lot. Much more pleasant to shoot than a G27! I can actually get back on target pretty quick with a G26 where the G27 I really struggle with.

Congrats they shoot awesome. I ended up selling mine only because I needed something that fit my hand better.

The G26 is a great little gun. I really like my 26. I you will enjoy it.

I trade my Kahr K40 this pasted weekend for a Springfield 1911. A couple of things I did not like about the K40 was its double action and heavy trigger pull. Maybe those two reasons plus the fact of the price and Kahrs' lack of marketing is the reason they have not taken off. Although I think Kahr makes a fine weapon. I still own P40.

If your hands are any size then the mag extensions are a great add-on. I have a G27 and love it.

I agree!
