Another auction, this time in Chattanooga:

http://www.gravittauction.com/auction_detail.php?ID=387088

Quite a bit different from the Volunteer Ordnance Works auction in Cleveland a few weeks back. At this auction, used stuff went for new MSRP and then some, seemingly. One item I was interested in was a Charter Arms AR-7 survival .22lr rifle. It went for $200+10% vigorish, go figure! I left without being able to buy any of the guns I was interested in at a reasonable price.

wish I'd known about this one too...where do you get the dates/times for the auctions?

I don't think you missed much, only about 30 guns, and like I said, they went for seemingly sky-high prices.

The VOW auction I found out because they mailed me a postcard, and the former owner is a friend and he told me about it. I found out about the Gravitt auction only because a co-worker's husband is on their mailing list, they sent him a flyer and she brought it to work for me as she knew I collect. I understand it was advertised in the Chattanooga paper as well, though I didn't see the paper this week.
