It looks like thr stock is on there upside down?

They are right up there with the chipmunk or whatever gun you had.. remember?

But I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. :)

Had???

Yeah, thats right I had it and I no longer have it now. So now I need to buy another gun to replace it. Remember I sold it and told you I did so I could buy another gun?

Probably because you were used to seeing things like this not so long ago :)

Touché Dolomite.

Actually most if not all my friends back home had pre ban ARs or else they just went with a Ca compliant sks or mini 14. Looking back the first "Ca AR" I ever saw was a Colt that looked about stock. It had a bullet button and possibly no flash hider. The owner also had a pre ban along with a stash of pre ban GI mags so aside from the bullet button it was pretty much just an AR.

Back on topic, I only hate it because its mandated, if it were a choice is reserve judgment until actually getting a feel for one.

If the buffer tube went all the way back and was connected to the stock it wouldn't really look that bad. I'll stick with my normal looking AR thank you, but if I was stuck in a commie state I'd probably own one of those as well (provided I couldn't leave).

I can see why this design is legal though, that rifle is certainly less deadly. That super bendy grip has saved the lives of countless children.

Personally I'd do what a few of buddy's did and just go the mini 14 route. Less headache and IMO a better looking rifle than one of those. Of course, not to sound like a broken record but these days I think it's a moot point in many of the states these would apply to.

Probably better than a regular AR grip. They got it ass backwards.

I have thought that for as long as I ever touched a pistol grip on a rifle.  Not made for pray and spray.

.............  It is sad that politicians believe this is somehow safer than a run of the mill AR.

Maybe I am off BUT... I'd bet if the truth was transparent, you would see several of those politician's family members and friends on the receiving end of the "Feinstein15" sales.  Why else would they be so motivated to outlaw some designs and not others when safety has always been within the shooter not what he/she is holding.  Looks like a strong motive to me.  Like I said, that would be my bet.  I'd rather be wrong however there is a reason for them to be so preferably ignorant of the facts.  What else is there??

Looks as good as any other AR to me...

Me, too.  I wonder what is wrong with just a good, old, non-adjustable, non-collapsible, traditional style buttstock?  Why would the Kaliformunists object to that?

As gregintenn said, though, I don't think it looks any worse than any other AR.  Looks weird - and, when the reason for it is considered, kinda dumb - but not particularly 'ugly' by comparison.  Naw, you want ugly?  That tactical lever action Mossberg did (trying to put 'AR' type furniture on an otherwise nice lever action) - now that is ugly.

I have a friend in LA that owns a lot of guns. He just keeps his in Arizona. California has been over the top for years. This is a pretty old pic, but is still one of the best examples of their stupidity...

I hate to say this, but I kinda like those, they give it a nice futuristic look, unique.

I don't think I would ever own one, as the functionality baffles me, but they sure do look neat.

If it were me, I would just buy a lever gun and get really good with it. But, thanks to the grace of god, I live in a free state.

Maybe there is a market for a levergun that takes AR mags.

Every time I see photos of these "featureless" guns, I'm reminded of the SP episode where Cartman is trying to be "special" so he can win the Special Olympics.

Not a bad looking rifle in a wierd kind of way but leaves me scratching my head as to what they were trying to achieve with their laws in the first place...

I am not gonna lie, anything with an AR mag is a better rifle. They are easy to find, many different flavors and sizes, simplifies logistics...
