Governor Christie's Gun control

Isn't it cute how that works around here? I recall many people here supporting John McCain also.

Well yeah...I supported McCain over Obummer and would any day of the week and twice on Sunday if for no other reason than I think McCain is a much more honorable man than Obummer will ever be.

There is a difference between "supporting" someone in a specific race and being a full-time, no holds bared, foaming at the mouth supporter for a politician.

In a similar way I like much about Rand Paul and believe him to be an honorable, truthful man. Unfortunately, I think he's absolutely dead wrong on this immigration/amnesty BS he's behind so whether I can vote for him now in a national election I'm not so sure...it's going to depend a great deal on what my other choices will be!

I agree. I voted for McCain because I didn't want obama. As much as McCain makes me angry by his RHINO qualities, I'd still trade him for O.

I pray that Christie never gets the nomination. I don't believe he would be good for our freedoms. Edited by Batman

I sometimes get frustrated by the fact that republicans will eat their own sometimes with a scary quickness meanwhile democrats will line up lockstep behind people that say the most ridiculous, unconstitutional & absurd things. Then I remember conservatives actually have a principled ideology & are generally logically consistent.

Saw an interview with Barney Frank on PMSNBS today. He was saying how he didn't mind that the bomber suspect wasn't Mirandized as there was nothing he could say to incriminate himself that was any worse than was already known about him. Then he started raving about how "the Wepubwicans were wanting him to be twied as an enemy combatant", claiming, "they must be mind weaders to know what he was thinking".

Hewwo Barney, didn't you just convict him without a trial?

If I'm not mistaken Christie was on the list of everyone's favorite Republicans around here a few years ago.

Yes he was, until he made his views about the 2A known.  Then his stock dropped like a rock.

Yeh, cute alright, not quite correct, though. People supporting McCain in an election that had no other way to go,

other than what we have now, and that's cute. I'll leave it at that...

You'll have to look long and hard to find my support of Christie. I was rather miffed at Ann Coulter and her

support for Christie, which even she has changed her mind.

This guy was ok for about 24 hours once, other than that, he is identical to the people he argued against to get the position.  Belligerent, obnoxious and don't care about much else other than his own career.
