Storm Lake vs Lone Wolf

Hi TGO,

I've decided to make the switch to cast bullets.

That said I am in the search for a aftermarket glock barrels.

I have a G19 and a G17.

Please offer any pros and cons to the LW vs SL barrels.

I'm leaning towards SL, because they are made in TN.

I bought the Lone Wolf for my 19. Also use it in the 26. Works well with my cast boolit loads(all I shoot anymore). I chose LW strictly on the price difference. $112 from Midway.

You will have to have two different barrels for your 19 and 17 I've heard.

It is true.
If it were me, I would just buy a barrel for the one I will shoot the most. I have shot a lot of lead through stock Glock barrels, but I clean them often.

I have 2 LW barrels, both for G22, they do have tight chambers, if you reload just reload well and check them.

We reloaded a few that were a bit to long, not a big deal to fix.

I had bought both for my G19. I stuck with the Storm Lake. It did take about 200 rds to break in the barrel, but it cycles all factory loaded ammo. I run a YHM Cobra M2 suppressor on mine.
