Ruger .44. What's amazing is I traded a .44 for a 788 back in '74. What goes around....

Nice. Like yourself, I had a Ruger 44mag carbine years ago. When I was a starving college student I foolishly sold it to an uncle of mine who lived in Alaska. Never replaced it. I miss that gun-- it was a great deer rifle for the woods & plains of Alabama back when I was growing up.

Sorry about that! :). Whats nice is they both came well equipped. Even the Camp had the original mag..

Whats really amazing is yesterday, everyone at the range wanted to shoot the .38!

The .44 came with a Ghost ring set and scope mounts and scope. Gotta love it.

I have my grandpas 44mag, he is still around but the gun actually gets oiled at my house. Hard hitting gun, I think Ruger should have made it in 9mm and 45 with a removable magazine.
