We lost another good one to cancer.

Jasen was a member here, an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment, a fellow Jeep owner and just an all around great guy.  Some of you knew him and those who didn't really missed out.  It saddens me to report that he succumbed to the battle he had fought against cancer since last year, passing from this life to the next this last Sunday morning.

He died way too young.

If you happened to know him, feel free to PM me for memorial arrangements.  I know his wife, family and friends would love to see the memorial service packed to standing room only.

Thanks.

I'm sorry for the loss. I didn't know of him, but I will say a prayer.

I didn't know him.....I missed out.

So very sorry.

I hope the family can find some measure of peace.

Cancer pisses me off. Ozzy wore a tshirt when his wife had cancer. It was vulgar but to the point. " F--- cancer!"

Sorry I didn't know him. One day soon, science will conquer cancer. That will be a great day. I've lost people to that horrible disease. Edited by piercedan

I didn't know the man, but being a member of our great TGO family is a loss indeed. Prayers go out to his family!

Things like this really are proof to me that only the good die young.  I've got a growing list of people that I feel should surrender their oxygen-rights to cats, dogs and dung beetles, but then there are people like Jasen that the world seriously needs more of.

We'll be saying farewell to him later today and tomorrow morning.

Everything you have said about Jasen is completely true. He would be the first to don't feel sorry for me! I am going to miss the hell outta him!!

Thank you for posting this David.

Yeah and that spirit of his is what's going to make me miss him even more.  A lot of folks are quick to tell you how many bad things are happening to them right now.  Misery loves company.  Jasen's stance was he didn't want to burden anyone with worrying about him all the way up to the end.

They just don't make many guys like him these days.  Too many skinny jeans and feelings worn on their sleeves.

Wow...so sorry to hear this. I knew him from TNJeeps. One of the good guys for sure. My condolences to his family. I'll be praying for them.

David, you have a pm inbound.

Well now, face it - Jasen wore some pretty skinny jeans! lol  But you are correct. I told him a few months ago I wasn't going to treat him special and he said "Good, I don't want to be treated special, I'm not". I said right, then load your azz up and lets go to the range! I told him that he could shoot right from seating in the truck, that he could put the window down. I sure wish he had been up to it.!!!

HAH!  Man that's awesome.  And you're right, he never figured he was special at all.  The crazy part about it is, despite what he thought, he was.  The funeral home was packed last night and it looked like that crowd had been coming and going steadily like that the entire time.
