And the Democrats want someone else.

I have no doubt that this is a "political message" to the Haslams from the Obama administration.  It's my belief that this is completely partisan.  Remember, the gubmt doesnt have to prove there is any wrongdoing here.  They just have to "suspect" there is some.

If the "investigation" goes no where, all the gubmt needs to say is "sorry for your trouble". Their company is stuck with the expense of defending themselves legally, the disruption to business, and the "stigma" be being under investigation. Additionally, if the law hasnt changed, the company will be barred from bidding and delivering on any gubmt contracts while the investigation is ongoing.

This will turn out, i believe, as others have--- "a dry hole" for gubmt.   Remember, that aint the idea.... The idea is to make those investigated and those looking on afraid.  After all, that's "the Chicago way".

I cant wait to see where this one goes and who it touches next.

When you have laws on the books that allow for this type of behavior, you incorporate the mysticism of the people,

who love to gossip, even around here, and even those we don't care for politically are brought into the equation

of our desires for some harm to come to them. Hey, in so many minds, you are guilty until proven innocent.

"Something they have been doing, they got caught on, heh,heh heh." It's interesting that if or when someone raids

my house or business, I guess I have that kind of mentality to expect, also. :D Thanks in advance, guys.

We have so many laws that automatically incriminate almost everyone in this country, and you don't even know it.

Try reading the Federal Register, sometime. It might make some run to religion. Ha!

Typical federal fishing expedition without bait, but I'm sure someone in the government will make up some kind of

trash they obtained illegally.

That "sealed warrant" thing really pisses me off. Nothing but a bunch of jackbooted thugs. That should be

an illegal act, by itself. Bullet proof vests and thirty to fifty people to do what one or two could do without

any trouble. That is a big damned deal.

Nothing but a show of intimidation.

I suspect that the Haslams will find out how Gibson Guitar felt.  And, will be able to do about the same amount of kicking, (none) that Gibson was able to do.

Should one run afoul of the Power (POTUS) it will make no difference what station you enjoy, pain will be inflicted.

Seems to be something about a rebate program to the individual outlets, get a reward incentive for x number of gallons or whatever.

So I guess it has something to do with federal fuel tax not getting paid or income from it not getting claimed or something, or IRS wouldn't be involved.
