New Glocks in OD Green Gen 3's and 4's

I just recieved an email saying that Glock is releasing Gen 3 and 4's in the previously discontinued OD green. I see another OD in my future. I traded my old OD for a classic S&W 640 and never regretted it but liked the OD's. Edited April 15, 2013 by Patton

I saw a very early Gen 1 17 today at a pawn shop near me. You don't see those very often.

I called and the lady said there was 1,000 of each model and now they are all spoken for. The lady said they may do more in the future do to the overwhelming demand.

Must be sold out already, says "no products found" under both Gen 3 and 4 :-(

On a side note, if this is such an in demand product then why is it not something they make regularly? Im sure Glock has multiple injection molders for each frame so it couldnt hurt to have one of each dedicated to a different color.

They are behind in production now by over a year.

they were never a big deal till they took em off the shelves and now they are over priced

the FDEs which IMO look nicer were the same price as the orig black versions so the OD Green

should not cost any more either,I will not be priced gouged ......02

Agreed. One high traffic forum I visit regularly see's the OD's listed for $800 even before the frenzy. It took me for ever to score my Gen4 FDE 17 at a normal price. I actually paid less for it than one of my black Gen4 17's. I'll never get rid of it. I was never a fan of the OD's.
