Good rifles, but not that great a price. You can get them new on Amazon for $20 more and if you are a prime member... free shipping.

I think woot ships for $5 on everything if i'm not mistaken. So you would save $15 which isn't all bad. But I don't mind refurbished goods with warranty.

Whaddaya know, they can't be shipped to my zip code. 376xx

I noticed that was a TN zip code too.

What's up with that, maybe a typo?

Probably relates to local ordinances prohibiting the sale of air rifles and slingshots. I know they can't sell them in JC. Don't know about Kpt., but they have 376xx zips too.

Man, I don't need much excuse to get another air rifle, I only have four. I might have to snatch one of those Whispers up. Anyone try one of those yet? Do they really quiet it down?

If you use regular pellets the sound is quieter. But use that high velocity PBA or supersonic ammo and it cracks like a 22lr.  I have a .177 Bone collector Gamo air rifle and it shoots pretty well. A lot cheaper than shooting my .22lr or my AR.

But ammo is cheap. think i paid $14 for 1000 pellets( non PBA) at Dunhams. Thing is the ammo is sold about everywhere and you don't have a limit or have to wait in line.
