Bill Oreilly arguing for registration

Just watched him argue Dobbs for the case for gun registration. Even proposed Chicago would be safer. I dont like him to begin with but WTH? He's that stupid? Good grief.

Was he trying to be sarcastic? I don't watch him because he gets on my nerves, but i thought he was more in favor of freedom than that. Edited by Batman

Yeah, Bill has been on that bent for a while. That he would be for registration is actually more surprising in a way than if he were for a ban on EBRs/mags.

He is a pinhead.

I'll bet that was on the tip of Lou's tongue more than once.

I don't know what happened to him. I use to listen to him a long time ago and he was a staunch supporter of the Constitution.

Now he's changed his philosophy and views and became a "middle of the roader". And we all know what's in the middle of the road, yellow stripes and dead skunks.

BTW. Haven't listened to Rush Limbaugh in a long time either. Has he chimed in on gun control issues on his program?

Everything I've heard from Rush lately has been very pro rights. I almost feel like he's gone closer being a libertarian than a Republican in the past 4 years. He's very pro tea party and has started to rail hard on the even moderately liberal republicans.

Bill sometimes defies logic. This is one of those times. It's what a liberal Republican is. He drinks the water from NY.

Bill O. proves that, to attend Harvard, you need money or brains. Evidently, he had money.

I used to watch him quite often and read several of his books (over a decade ago). At the time, I felt he was pretty smart, and favored freedom. Now the only times I hear about him is when he is being ridiculous. He has definitely shifted, for one reason or another.

Stopped listening to O'Reilley after he supported an AWB. I'll not be watching or supporting him in any way till he removes his head from his fourth point of contact.

BOR is an arrogant narrow-minded statist authoritarian theocrat, a bully with extremely limited reasoning faculties. Look up asshat in the encyclopedia and you will see his picture right alongside those of Rudy Giulliani, Peter King, Rick Santorum, Bill Kristol. He ain't "looking out for me". Richard Nixon was a fine upstanding honest libertarian compared to that bunch.

Read rush's web site.  You can get the entire radio show in 5 min instead of 4 hours.   He has good things to say, but he is just too obnoxious to listen to live, for me.

Rush is pro-gun but clueless about guns.  He reacts to what the media says but it would do him wonders to read some of the well thought out posts on sites like this one.   Basically he is against gun control but he does not have the background to make our case on the air, instead he most often will be critical of the leftism and leave out the counter-arguments that explain our side to the masses.   Its unfortunate but the bulk of the right wing media are not southern and do not understand the conservative rual viewpoint.  They are big city guys and they understand the left VERY well but are a bit out of touch with the republican base (kinda like our reps who tend to be big city rich guys who are out of touch).

I just about guffawed when he said, (and I forget his exact words, but it was something like...)  We can't lock up lunatics because we don't want to live in a totalitarian society/police state, but we should have gun registration and 'stop and frisk'.....HELLO!?!?

I was happy to hear Dobbs letting him have it. Opine that Bill! HA HA

Years ago I used to like him. Now he is annoying. His ego is getting the best of him.

He is almost as bad as Chris (I have a thrill up my leg) Mathews.
