Alleged big-rig thief claims zombies were chasing him 16 hrs ago

It's a terrifying world Americans live in these days. A struggling economy, soaring unemployment and, of course, the constant threat of zombies. Just ask 19-year-old Jerimiah Hartline. The Tennessee man was arrested in Temecula, Calif., after allegedly stealing a big rig hauling a load of strawberries. Hartline crashed the rig numerous times, injuring seven people, before finally overturning the vehicle. If it seems like he may have been trying to get away from something, he apparently was — zombies. "He said zombies were chasing him and he had to get out of here," stated California Highway Patrol spokesman Nathan Baer. Finding no evidence of zombies, authorities are seeking charges of vehicle theft and hit-and-run against Hartline. [Source]

It was actually terminator robots, sent from the future by SkyNet, merely masquerading as zombies so as not to arouse suspicions. :)

Thanks for the laugh :)

If he was living in California then he was a Californian and not a Tennesseean.

I wonder if charges would have been dropped had evidence of zombies been found? According to the article he was charged because no evidence was found.

As a former Sailor that was living in Temecula, and after looking at the photo he was most likely trying to get to Hemet. The last time I was there it seemed half the town was meth heads. Anyway, according to the source article the perp was from TN but stowed away in the cab of the truck that left TN for CA. Either way the last thing Temecula needs is more freaking traffic problems. LOL
