The Internal Revenue Service doesn't believe it needs a search warrant to read your e-mail.Newly disclosed documents prepared by IRS lawyers say that Americans enjoy "generally no privacy" in their e-mail, Facebook chats, Twitter direct messages, and similar online communications -- meaning that they can be perused without obtaining a search warrant signed by a judge.

wewoapsiak, anything I post on TGO, Facebook and all the other forums I am a member of are for anybody to read. BUT; in my emails, private messages, direct messages, etc. I expect privacy from everyone, especially the government. But you know the gov. has tens of thousands of agents that have access to our private messages and have for many years.

The information highway is used to provide information to the very people we don't want to know it.
