Would he have been in the right if he had fired into the windshield and killed a few ?
Did he intentionally shoot for tires ?

I suppose it would be a he said they said situation ; things you have to think about in those few seconds before shooting.

Not sure if it's just me, but stories like this make me cringe a bit.

Shoots and hits tire? The suspect fleeing when shot at? That wouldn't be smart for the homeowner.

IDK, guess I'd have to be in that exact situation to make that call.

The suspects allegedly rammed his vehicle with the Taurus and then turned their vehicle, driving toward him. Fearing for his life, Foster drew a firearm and fired several shots at the vehicle, the release said.

I know it print, it is sometimes hard to determine the exact order of events vs being there in person.  I probably wouldn't claim I was trying to hit the tire either.

I will listen to see if I hear any more.

If a methhead is on my property, I don't care what direction they are heading, I am in fear of my life.  Seen enough of them up close to know they will turn on you in a heartbeat.
