It looks like a variation of the witness, only with more plastic.   The "typical" metal witness is only $400 or so, this one, $300 seems about right.

*** in spite of the low price tag, if this IS a witness family pistol, it will be an excellent gun.  I rate my wife's witness to be as good as a cz 75 or beretta 92 --- $600 guns.

The quality is good, it is just an unknown type around these parts.

I have a Jericho, which is a CZ75 clone built originally with Tanfoglio parts. They are top notch guns.

Basically in the states we are 1911 folks. All the other civilized nations used Browning Hipowers and CZ75s.  The US doesn't believe in those. Thus the CZ75 sells low here, even though it is a top quality firearm. The clones are very similar. For a 40 year old design, I have heard more about it in the last two or three years than I have all my life.

I personally think the CZ75 and variants/clones are the best SA/DA on the market. ESPECIALLY at their pricepoint.

With that said, I prefer the full steel versions.

100% agree. Though I will say I love my P07. Love to have a compact P01 though :)

The Tangfolio's always catch my eye when I see one, but it's because it looks like a CZ, which I would rather have.

First thing you want to do is check magazine availability and price. Even if you got the gun for $250 it'd not be a good deal if extra mags are going to cost you $80 each or if you can't find any to buy.
There's a lot of 9x19mm guns on the market. The market prices are running high right now because of the "panic" and mags and ammo is hard to find. Personally, I'd wait a few months for things to settle down before you buy something unless you can either get it for a great price or you can get mags and stuff for it easily. Of course if you actually need a handgun then pay what you feel it's worth to you but if you already have a couple handguns to use for CCW/Home Defense then it may be wise to just stand pat with your cash and wait for things to stabilize before you buy. As always, JMHO, YMMV.

P.S.
Here's a very similar gun from Bud's you might use for comparison.

Magazines are readily available in the $25 range. I am finding them in stock when I look, again this is a little known gem.

If that's the case then it'd be a good gun to buy and pick up 4 or 5 extra mags while you're at it. I had a TZ-75(CZ-75 clone) in 40cal and I liked the gun but didn't like the ctg. it fired. If it'd have been in 9x19mm I'd have really liked it.
I'd hit the guy that has it for sale with $250 and see if he'll bite, if not have him make a counter offer but I'd not go over $300-$325. Remember, a lot of folks think their guns are made out of gold right now and need to be brought back down to Earth where price is concerned.
