Any big bore reloaders?

About 12 years ago I got into African Big bore shooting. I was lucky enough to go on 2 safaris. I spent about 32 days hunting in africa. This was right after sept ,11..... the prices to hunt in africa fell about 80%. I enjoyed shooting the big bores so I started to reload and shoot the following: 375 h&h, 425 Westly Richards, .404 Jeffry, 450/400 3 inch nitro,458 win mag and 500 BPE. I'd like to know if any of you shoot these calibers. I would enjoy talking with you and maybe shooting some time.

After a 10 year hiatus I am just getting everything in order to begin loading again.  The closest thing to a big bore I loaded then was 444 Marlin (which I still have).  I now own a 375 H&H Mag and plan to load for it soon.  If I don't load for it, I can't afford to shoot it!

I'm getting set up to reload my .375 H&H. I won't get back to Africa this year, but at least I can think about it while I work on the reloads.

I admire your sense of "enough gun".

I've taken everything from whitetail to bull elephant with the .375 H&H... it's plenty of gun for me, thanks.

My shoulder aches just thinking about hunting w/ that kind of artillery.... of course, I don't expect you have to follow blood trail on whitetails for more than a foot or two.

i shot mine with a 416 rigby bolt gun .i just like big bores i cast bullets for them most of the time. been selling them off as of late because i dont shoot them any more. i will tell you though the hardest kicking gun i have ever had the pleasure to shoot is my titatium 338 urlta mag it beats the snot out of me but i still love it

Oh i forgot I also shoot 416 rigby......I have a 404 jeffery that was an old game dept rifle.... that has to be the hardest kicking rifle I have ever shot..I am afraid I will detach a retina or get a brain aneurysm  every time I shoot it.

I like my .416 Rigby Ruger Bolt and Model 70 Stainless .375 HH. I haven't shot them too much. I, too, become concerned about detached retinas as I get older but mainly when using my .300 Wby since it has a pretty quick recoil impulse.

Double rifles are the way to go. I saved up and got a Merkle double in .375 H&H. I LOVE that gun.

African wildlife shudders everytime she comes out of her case.
