Finally one of the lgs received one. Got it taken down and greased, just need to put a couple hundred through it. Didn't pay much attention at the store but the grip safety rattles like crazy. This being my 1st 1911 probably will not make any changes for a while. I'll get a couple more mags & 2 holsters.

Congrats, I have the full size model and have been very impressed with it's performance.

Congrats on a nice pistol.  I finally found one a few weeks ago.  I was impressed with its performance at the range.

I had the same issue on the used RIA Officer that I recently traded for. I just took out the leaf spring (I forget the name) and bent the grip safety leaf out some and that fixed the rattling.

Check YouTube for videos if you aren't familiar with taking apart a 1911. That's what I had to do.

It was a little frustrating figuring it out but a must for a 1911 owner, enjoy!

Finally made it to the range. Everything went good. Put 200 rounds down range with no failures. Didn't bring an allen wrench so you know the grip screws would began to loosen up after that first 100. Grip safety still rattles but not nearly as bad as before.
