Been looking for the bx25 or 50 but not for $1850 ea. Came across this on ableammo and watched the video thought darn that looks neat. I really like the thumb assist.

$1850.00 it better come with, well lets say i cant say that on this site....

yeah well I am exaggerating a tad but some of the prices on armslist/gunbroker & other retailers is just beyond absurd into stupid for the ruger bx25/bx50 if you can even find them in stock. ruger is asking $31.95 for the bx25 brand new on backorder this HC3R magazine is $49 and was instock but sorta holds 45, in reality it's 25 with 20 on quick clip strip reload capability so enh I figured lets give it a shot because I wasn't goin for the butler creek crap.

Sarcasm is hard without personal interaction.. Just being an ass..   I watch this crap pricing on a daily basis.. There are deals out there, patience is a virtue... Hey, Butler Creek ain't Ruger, but what is Ruger? Any better?

The Ruger 25rounders are excellent. Much better than butler creek stuff.

yeah I've seen a lot of feed issues and general durability problems reported with the butler creek hotlips and didn't want to bother to be one of those who gets the 3mph performance on a 'performance may vary' product.

I had fine success with Butler Creek Steel lip models, but not until I flushed them out with dish washing suds and sprayed the innards well with silicone spray lube.

But the Ruger BX25's are the cat's pajamas.

I had seen this HCMag before, and admit it looks quite nifty. Might well try one sometime.
