AR15.com seems like just a bunch of jerks who would rather make smart remarks than actually put in helpful input. Thanks to this forum, I have had some good and honest replies. Sure, we can all be smart mouths, but out of 30 replies, you get 1 good comment there... I usually just read and not post... Glad I've joined and found this place. Thanks for the excellent help guys...

That is why I left ARFCOM years ago. I let my membership lapse in I think 2009 and only check out the classifieds when I am hunting something in particular.

I'm with you guys, I love it here. Screw AR15.com. Wont go back there. my old state of MN has MNGuntalk.com and it was pretty good. but also a lot of not so bright people that shouldn't have even been talking.

I can understand people just asking questions without searching. I can see where that might get annoying. But thats forum life. Just ignore it. You can't train new guys on forums. They gripe about people not using the search, yet their search works after you become a paying member!!??

That's what is great about TGO. I posted an item for sale and didn't know what I had, got one post that I was a dope but got 5 others that helped me figure it out. Mistakes will happen.

I have always found local forums to

The beautiful thing about TGO is that people here are love guns.  Whether you reload, cast, compete or just love to plink you will find something here for you.  Yes there are A$$hats here, but generally they are just trying to be funny, not truly unkind.  I appreciate sarcasm and a smart aleck response.  I also appreciate that being a female here is seen as a good thing.  The other forums tend to assume that if you are female you know nothing about firearms.  I learn something new every time I logon.  Can't beat it!
