There is a 2x1000 this comming sunday at Tullahoma at the AEDC. Regisration begins at 9am and shooting starts at 10am Central Time. Cost to shoot is 15.00 Dollars..

So bring your bi-poded tactical rifles and shoot some. You will need at least 60 rounds.. 10 for sighters and 20 for score for each match.

Man, it is serious fun to shoot! Nothing like shooting at 1K.. of course.. after a while.. it don't seem that hard.. the main thing is to remember that it is a known distance.. it is the same as shooting at 100 yards.. "mentally".. just got to make more care for the wind is all..

AEDC range is a Tn National Guard Range, the only time that it is open to the public is during a match.. and I am sorry to say.. but only rifles with .338 bore or smaller is allowed.

That is so true.. I shoot 6BR's out to 1K. A friend of mine used to have a BMG and sold it.. though he did do some ground hog hunting a little bit with it..

This sunday is the 1000 yard shooting.. so if you want to stretch it out.. now is the time too! Registration starts a 9am .

Had a fairly decent turnout this weekend.. sunday was a good day to shoot in Tullahoma! Didn't do well on the first match, bad point and just could not get comphy!.. Shot a 184-4X Second match was a different story.. 198-6X.. Shooting a 6BR at a 1000 sometimes can be a real handfull!
