California up to new tricks...

Proposals for background checks to buy ammo, application fee, and 10% tax on ammo to "fight" crime, ammunition dealers licensed and require identification information for all buyers to be included in a statewide registry.

18' fence, nobody out, nobody in...

Seen this coming a long ways off, surprised it took this long actually. As a former resident LA county I'm already all to familiar with being fingerprinted to purchase ammo.

Also familiar with driving 30minutes to Culver City to avoid the hassle. ;)

Wasn't california supposed to fall off into the ocean by now?

Maybe if the rest of the nation gave it a good nudge.

Problem is California is the petri dish for the nation. Almost every single gun, enviromental or liberal type law originated in California. Then the rest of the nation followed or tries to follow suit. Think it hasn't happened here look at the enviromental controls passed here. They were in California long before they were here.

And we already have liberal leaning legislators here otherwise we would be passing a lot more protective measures for guns. Just takes a few more in key places and we will see California laws here.

But we are far from being last in that contest. I can think of at least a 1/2 dozen other states that are better than Tennessee as far as individual freedoms and gun rights. Not saying we are bad, because we are not, but we are far from being dead last which is where I would want to be.

I agree. Just don't see us as being anywhere near Kalifornia or some of those other rediculous states. We stand a chance for improvement.

Yes we do as long as we let those we don't agree with know we don't agree with them. Telling those we are in agreement with that we agree with them is not as important as letting those we don't agree with know how we feel.

Hopefully the nation as a whole figures it out. And I honestly hope all the good guys and girls in those liberal states move, taking their tax money with them. When the states see their funding fleeing in droves they might get a clue to not regulate their tax dollars away.

The libtard states are having a big contest right now... "How Commie Can You Go?". Tennessee is a long way from that kind of stupid.

I'm with Mark Levine in that we're not ready to quit the Republican party, but we're gonna fight to take it back with conservative Tea Party people. Third party is a losing proposition for last 150 years.

Problem is ... as the money moves out so do the screw-up liberal politicians. They just follow the "good" like a disease and destroy it wherever it goes.

Well, it is not just that. Some of the people who are leaving voted for the people who made them leave. So when they get to the new place they vote for the same type of people. And then it begins all over again. They change there location, not thier ways....
