Eleanor Roosevelt shows that todays liberals aren't what they used to be. Today she might be a McCain republican.

 

I thought it was an odd comment to say "Teddy's cousin-in-law Eleanor" when she was, more correctly, his neice. FDR was 5th cousin to both Teddy and Eleanor, just to make it more confusing. Teddy's brother was Eleanors dad.

It befuddles me how much popular opinions on firearms have changed in the last 70 some odd years. It never crossed most people's minds (republican or democrat) that firearms were evil. It took a culture of people who refused to place the blame on the actual individual and place it on the instrument to get to the point we're at today. Our founding fathers would have *itch slapped anyone who thought this way. In fact it makes me chuckle to picture Thomas Jefferson or George Washington doing this. :stick:    Heh heh heh
